Meet the Bureau

At the Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau, we work with local hotel and tourism partners to share Beaumont with the world. Every quarter, we meet with our valuable partners to share what the CVB is doing to promote our city, showcase upcoming sales missions and preview promotional efforts. These meetings also give our very important local industry partners the chance to ask questions and be a part of future promotions.

Our Convention Sales Team is constantly working on promoting Beaumont as a destination to convention and meeting planners:

• Presenting to convention and trade show site selection groups
• Prospecting within the national, regional and state markets
• Exhibiting at tradeshows and conferences
• Coordinating site visits
• Servicing groups during a convention
• Developing relationships through trade associations, governmental agencies, sporting groups and other organizations
• Targeting religious, military reunion, science, social and corporate markets

While the Convention Sales Team is promoting Beaumont as the perfect location for event planners, the Marketing and Communications Department is working as an in-house advertising and public relations agency. The team develops creative and effective advertising, places media in strategic publications, publishes the monthly eNewsletter and maintains the Beaumont CVB website. The Marketing and Communications Department also responds to inquiries from journalists, writes press releases, compiles media kits and hosts travel writers.

The Tourism Department's objective is to promote group leisure travel in Beaumont. While the Tourism Department is happy to help all travelers including day groups, it's really best to spend the night in Beaumont to make sure you don't miss out on anything in this great city! The Tourism Department packages special events (information available right here on our website), and coordinates with national organizations to share everything Beaumont has to offer with group tour coordinators.

The Administrative staff manages the bureau and helps tourists in the CVB visitor's lobby, while the Executive Director oversees and provides direction for all our CVB functions.
