Destination Training
With its southern hospitality - and a little something extra - Beaumont has so much to offer visitors! Our community members' positive attitude with a flair for Southeast Texas charm makes Beaumont a destination that people keep coming back to.
Over 1,300 locals have graduated the CVB's Beaumont Destination Training program and are now spreading the word about Beaumont's great attractions and flavorful culture. The program starts out with a continental breakfast and consists of a half-day, hands-on tour that introduces Beaumonters to museums, history and culture of the area. In addition, attendees are given the opportunity to network with one another and learn about happenings throughout the city including the latest City of Beaumont projects and developments. A graduation ceremony concludes the day of activities where graduates receive their essential Beaumont Training Manual packed with great information and valuable tools.
This free program is essential training for hospitality industry employees. Front desk, hotel bell staff, guest services, sales managers, museum and restaurant staff... the list goes on! Excellent customer service is a vital key to the lifeline of all successful businesses as well as the success of the tourism industry here in Beaumont. The Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau Destination Training will benefit your business and arm your employees with firsthand knowledge of Beaumont's current and new attractions, how to speak "Texas Friendly," ensuring top-notch customer service, upcoming events, ways to maximize tips and lots more!
